"Insuring" your dinner by engaging pet parents across channels with humorous content, a giveaway, and a touch of evergreen entertainment.
Social: Covering the Cost of a Meal
To connect with pet owners on their favorite platforms, we shared organic posts highlighting the frequency of food theft and tips to avoid it. To drive engagement, we hosted a holiday giveaway where participants commented on posts to share their food-theft stories for a chance to win a $100 grocery gift card. Winners were DM'd with confirmation, creating a personal touchpoint and boosting brand affinity.
Digital Ads: Holiday Humor That Clicks
Our ads featured cheeky headlines like “Protect Your Turkey from Furry Thieves” paired with images of pets mid-heist. These ads drove traffic to a holiday-themed landing page, where users could learn more about food theft, enter the giveaway and begin their quote. The humor resonated well with our target audience, making the campaign both memorable and shareable.
Evergreen Commercial: Pets Eating "Weird Sh*t"
To extend the campaign’s life beyond the holiday season, we created a humorous video that spotlighted the bizarre things pets eat, from socks to spaghetti. The word “sh*t” was playfully censored with squeaky toy noises, adding levity while driving home the message of why insuring pets (and your meals) matters. The commercial was a hit across platforms, driving both awareness and engagement.
